Artistic Staff

Artistic Director: John Ribovich

John Ribovich is a poet and playwright, drama instructor at Milpitas High School, and the founder of Calaveras Repertory Theatre. In 1992 he started the Shakespeare Mentor Tour and the Page-to-Stage educational tour. He has taught drama classes at ACT and the Berkeley Repertory and written many plays.

Production Manager: Caela Fujii

Caela is thrilled to be joining the Calaveras Rep staff, after having stage managed their productions of King Lear and The Merchant of Venice. A freelance stage manager and props designer, she has worked throughout the Bay Area for such companies as A.C.T., Center REPertory Company. City Lights Theatre Company, TeatroVision, and Bus Barn Stage Company. A graduate of the Univeristy of Southern California, Caela also serves as the Props Master for TheatreWorks.

Lighting Designer:  Nam Nguyen

Nam Nguyen studied theatrical design at Santa Clara University and has created theatre/industrial lighting and set concepts in the Milpitas community for the past eight years.  Since 1996, Nam has been the resident lighting designer for Calaveras Rep. He has also designed for the Bus Barn Stage Company and Hillbarn Theatre.
