Audition Information
Calaveras Rep produces two to three mainstage productions each
season, as well as two touring productions. All roles in mainstage shows
are paid a small one-time stipend and we often use a BAPP agreement that allows
us to work with union actors. All rehearsals and performances for
mainstage shows are held at our theatre in Milpitas. Touring
productions are paid a weekly salary for the two-week rehearsal period and a
daily stipend for each performance day.
We usually hold one round of season general auditions in
the spring, as well as additional auditions on a show-by-show basis. Keep
your eye on Callboard, Theatre Bay Area online, and this
webpage for audition announcements. We also attend the TBA auditions each
winter.
