Cast Bios:

Onico Edain (Cecily) performed in many theatres in Los Angeles, including A Noise Within, The Court Theater, and Actor's Gang. Her television work includes Space: Above and Beyond, The Net and Nash Bridges. She is currently working on the comic book cult film, Bif! Bam! Pow!. She is an honors graduate of Mills College with a B.A. in French Studies and Theater, and has studied at The National Circus School Annie Frattellini in Paris, France.

Madaline Fluhr (Miss Prism) has performed in many Bay Area theaters including Actors Ensemble in Berkeley, Center Repertory Company, and San Jose Repertory Company. Madaline earned a B.A. in theater from Temple University and attended American Conservatory Theatre's Advanced Training Program.

Mary Gibboney (Lady Bracknell) has performed and directed in many Bay Area theaters including The San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, San Jose Repertory, California Theatre Center, Theatre Works, San Jose Stage Company, The Marin Theatre Company, and San Jose Light Opera Theatre.  She is making her debut with Calaveras Repertory Theatre.

Joe Higgins (Dr. Chasuble) has appeared in productions at BusBarn Theatre, Monterey Peninsula Theatre, Woodinster Amphitheatre, San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, Theatre Works, CenterRep, Eureka Theatre, Peninsula Civic Light Opera and Hillbarn. He comes to the Bay Area with extensive New York stage and television experience, and taught acting for many years under the auspices of the Harkness Ballet Company in New York. Joe is a member of Actors' Equity Association.

Mark Phillips (Jack) has performed with many Bay Area theaters including Theatre Works, The Magic Theatre, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, California Shakespeare Festival, and SF Shakespeare Festival. Recent roles include Jake in the West Coast Premiere of Stones in His Pockets at the Magic Theatre, for which he received a 1999 Bay Area Drama Critics Circle Award. This summer he will be seen in Theatre Works' production of Over the River, and Through the Woods. Mark is a member of Actors' Equity Association.

Kevin Vermillion (Lane and Merriman) has previously worked with Solano Repertory Company, Menlo Players Guild, Peninsula Civic Light Opera, and American Musical Theatre of San Jose. Kevin will be appearing later in 1776 with Hillbarn Theatre, and in the Broadway West production of Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men.

Laura Beth Wells (Gwendolen) is making her Calaveras Rep debut. Favorite roles include Nellie in Jekyll and Hyde, Martha Jefferson in 1776, Billie in Born Yesterday, Rosaura in Life is a Dream, and Petra in A Little Night Music. Laura Beth is a graduate of Kent State University, where she received her Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting.

Noel Wood (Algernon) has been seen in productions at Theatre Works, Bus Barn Stage Company, Altarena Playhouse, the 1999 State of the World Forum, Foothill College, and Menlo Players Guild.
